k3b & gLabels ~ A winning combination!

Although there are some instances when only MS Windows will cut it…The reverse is also true with #nix, or more specifically Ubuntu Linux.

I do not have Nero so use K3b.  Printing the CD/DVD labels with gLabels.  K3b will not handle MP3s out the box but the extra codecs can be downloaded:

sudo apt-get install libk3b6-extracodecs

Everything should be set up automatically.  If not then check the box next to the MAD Mp3 plugin under:-
Settings > Configure K3b > Plugins

I now have some shiny new, artwork adorned, vocal renditions from jw.org.  Pay for a burning suite/CD label software?  Pah & bah!
