Xubuntu Chromium Prompts Unlock Keyring

(This was written for 12.04.) Quash an annoying annoyance! The file causing the problem is /etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.desktop . So: sudo leafpad /etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.desktop The line: OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Unity should be changed to OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Unity;XFCE

XFCE 4.10

Installed the latest & greatest window manager via PPA?  Broken your system?  4.10 is not supported by  Canonical.  Uninstall as of Xubuntu’s Google+ page: sudo apt-get install ppa-purge sudo ppa-purge ppa:xubuntu-dev/xfce-4.10
